TBM continuos effort

TBM Group strongly believes in sustainability and respect of environment.

Investments in construction of plants for the production of energy on their own, are in fact always been a fixed point in the company’s policy. If in the 80s, this was mainly related to the will to reduce energy costs, Achilles’ heel of Italian producers, in recent years, environmental objectives, such as the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere and the preservation of the environment became strategic.

and “green” philosophy

In the last few years were built a gas turbine plant and five photovoltaic systems.

It is also currently in study the construction of a hydroelectric power station on a site owned. It is estimated that this will be operative at the end of 2015.

Thanks to this investment, the group will have about 60% of the energy used self-produced. These important projects, combined with a constant commitment to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and to the strong emphasis in the use of water during the whole cycle of finishing, make the “Green” one of the main assets of the Group.

Green ethic

For TBM sustainability is also responding with facts in an ethical concept of doing business.

Respect for the environment, but also for people: employees, contractors, customers and suppliers.
All Group companies are dedicated to young emerging designers from around the world, supporting them to start-up.
As a concrete gesture of solidarity TBM joins Quid project  which provides free materials to working groups set up to introduce disadvantaged women in the manufacturing sector.
